SUMMARY:Mascoma River Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:The river will be divided up into 12 sections starting at Exit 7 going downstream till the Connecticut River. Each section is about 1/2 a mile long and some contiguous sections can be combined.\nEach section will have a leader with map and phone. At the pavilion you will be given some trash bags to fill. 1 or  2 pickup trucks will patrol the banks to pickup trash and tires and deposit it into assigned dumpsters at the CCBA.  Phone numbers will be provided so you can call them to come and pick up your collection. There will be a light lunch for the volunteers.\nThis affair tends to be great fun; usually the weather cooperates and the river is nowadays clean enough to cavort in.  It would be helpful if you could swim a bit.  We need all of you to come and help keep our Mascoma River clean\, so volunteer!
